Anna discovered the CoZee to be a safe and comfortable place to sleep for her infant. She was pleased that it didn't move like other models, so she wasn't woken up at night while trying to soothe her baby during feedings. The Maxi-Cosi lora
The Iora is a bassinet designed for infants designed to make parents feel closer to their infant while they sleep. It can be adjusted upwards and downwards, and moved through three different positions for sliding to be placed beside the bed of the parent or in the corner, so the baby is always in reach. The mesh siding is breathable, allowing air to flow through and allows you to glance at your child. You can also keep additional pajamas or other items in the large storage basket beneath.
The Iora is a bedside crib that is smaller and can fold flat. It also comes with a travel bag which allows it to be taken anywhere. Our mum testers found it easy to move from room to room and believed it was a great size for a small bedside cot, not too big or small. The large storage basket is ideal for storing extra bedding or nappies.
This is a great option for parents who want to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but do not want to share their beds, or whose partners might be suffering from mobility issues, such as arthritis or back issues. Our mom testers love the ease with which they can access their child in the Iora, and that it comes with an option to tilt the bed upwards to help with gas.
Our mums are also thrilled that the mattress is in line with NICE guidelines, which are to place the baby in the crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys pillows, etc.). The mattress is also firm and comfortable for babies and sheets are easy to find. It's not as light as the other smaller cribs on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier for you to move around, consider a different alternative.
